First Stop:
Our accredited guide will meet you in front of Abdulhamid Han Fountain, and will take you to Topkapi Palace. This palace in Turkish called Topkapi Saray is a notable highlight in Istanbul that served as ottoman Empire’s administration building for nearly 400 years .
Second Stop:
After visiting Topkapi Palce, we will walk to Hagia Sophia Mosque or as it is called in Turkish Ayasofya Cami.
The “ church of holy wisdom”, Hagia Sophia is among the world’s greatest architectural achievements. Which is sacred landmark for Muslims and Christian. This mosque was once a byzantine church before the ottomans took control of city. In the 15th century the ottomans converted it into a mosque .
Third Stop:
Our next stop is the Blue Mosque, which is located in the neighboring area of the Hagia Sophia. The Blue mosque, in
Turkish Sultan Ahmet Cami, takes its name from mainly blue iznik tile work decorating its interior, is one of the most famous religious building in the world. Serene at any time, it is at its most magical state when floodlit at night. Due to the renovation in the Blue Mosque, the mosque is only visited from outside until further notice.
Fourth Stop:
Right beside the Blue Mosque is Hippodrome, or in Turkish Hipodrom at Meydani. It is the heart of byzantine city of Constantinople. It was originally laid out by Emperor Septimus Severus during his rebuilding of the city in 3rd century AD. The site is now an elongated public garden, At meydani, cavalry square .
Fifth Stop:
Nothing can prepare you for the Grand bazaar or in Turkish Kapaliçarşi. The bazaar was established by Mehmet ll shortly after his conquest of the city in 1453. It is easy to get lost in the bazaar in spite of the signposting.
Sixth Stop:
Pierre Loti Hill or in Turkish Pierr loti tepesi is a hill overlooking the Golden Horn in the Eyüpsultan district of Istanbul. The hill took its name from the French novelist and orientalist Julien Viaud, who came to Istanbul in 1876 and settled here, and is known for frequently visiting a coffee house on this hill.
Seventh Stop:
We descent from Pierre Loti Hill by cable car.
Eights Stop:
The last but one is Rahmi M. Koç Museum, in Turkish Koç Muzesi, which was established on an area of approximately 27,000 square meters in the center of Old Istanbul and on the Golden Horn Coast. It is the first and only industrial museum of our country, as well as a living social space with its entertaining and educational features. The museum was open in 1994 .
Ninth and Last Stop:
Our tour ends with Bosphorus Cruise and you can enjoy the historical sightseeing from the sea by seeing Bosphorus Bridge, the Golden Horn, Ciragan Palace, Topkapı Palace, Dolma Bahçe Palace, The Hagia Sophia Mosque, Maiden’s Tower, Galata Tower, Blue Mosque, Ortakoy Mosque, and sail between the two continents of Europe and Asia.
